Facts: Petitioner Laura Gunwall was convicted of conspiring to deliver and possessing cocaine after the Superior Court for Snohomish County denied her motion to suppress evidence derived from telephone records obtained by police without obtaining a warrant. These telephone records had been included in the affidavit that supported the warrant issued for the search of Gunwall’s home that produced large quantities of cocaine and cash. Read more…
