Docket No. 570-5  Facts:  Terry Preszler was suspended from the practice of law for three years following a hearing before the Washington State Bar Association’s disciplinary board, which found that Preszler had violated several rules of professional conduct by charging an unreasonable fee, giving mistaken legal advice, filing false documents, failing to supervise his paralegal, and failing to obtain required approval from a bankruptcy court before distributing proceeds from his client’s personal injury claim to himself. Kappleman v. Lutz

Docket No. 80996-8  Facts: Petitioner Amber Kappleman, who was a passenger on a motorcycle operated by respondent Theodore Lutz, sought damages for injuries sustained after the motorcycle hit a deer at night. At the time of the accident, Lutz did not have a motorcycle endorsement for his driver’s license and had only an instructional permit that did not permit him to carry passengers or to drive at night.
