Radcliffe appealed his conviction, asserting that although he initially waived his Miranda rights when apprised of them by the first officer that interrogated him, the confession should nonetheless have been suppressed insofar as the second officer that interrogated him and that recorded the confession subsequently continued interrogating him after he requested an attorney.
