Docket No. 79841-9  Facts: While serving a term of community custody following his release from prison, petitioner Amel Dalluge was arrested and taken to the Grant County Jail, where he assaulted several of the officers on duty. Washington v. Schwab

Docket No. 79262-3  Facts: Petitioner Dale Schwab was convicted of first degree manslaughter and second degree felony murder in the Superior Court for Snohomish County after killing a man in an altercation. Upon appeal, the Washington Court of Appeals vacated Schwab’s conviction for first degree manslaughter, ruling that convictions for both first degree manslaughter and second degree murder for a single homicide violate the 5th Amendment to the United States Constitution’s prohibition against double jeopardy.
