Respondent Gary Robert Young was charged with violating a municipal ordinance in the district court of the town of Republic before a non-lawyer judge as permitted by statute due to the population of the judicial district in which Republic is located. Lamon v. McDonnell Douglas Corporation
Docket No. 45619 Facts: Respondent Vicki Lamon filed suit against petitioner McDonnell Douglas in the Superior Court for King County after being injured by falling through an open escape hatch while working as a stewardess on an aircraft manufactured by McDonnell Douglas. Lamon alleged that the aircraft was defectively designed and manufactured and that McDonnell Douglas was subject to strict liability. Continue reading
