Docket No. 38611 Facts: The respondent Department of Game brought a declaratory judgment action for the purpose of determining whether members of the Puyallup Indian Tribe had immunity from state conservation laws. The Puyallup Tribe asserted rights under the Treaty of Medicine Creek, in which the tribe relinquished lands they occupied in exchange for a reservation and certain rights, including the right to take fish at all usual and accustomed places.
